The Quest, The Quest!

Hahahahahah! Havent been blogging for a while, mainly lazing away from blogs! Anyway, bothered to post today cause im avoiding maths!

In random orders...!

Saturday! THE QUEST 2008! Also the day i was gonna be home alone for 4 nights! Woohoo! Woke up at 5.45am! Reach Tampines MRT at 6.25am. The whole group waited for our leader until 7am. Reached Dhoby Ghaut! Registered and saw other groups we recognized! Not prepared to win but to play! Got our clues and used handphones to research and infos at bus-stops to locate our checkpoints... Had a good breakfast too! Yeahhh!! The race started! Whoops! Prior to the start, me and Zheng Wei went to the bus-stop in front to plan our route, jaywalked without knowing it -.-

Start! All teams jaywalked and it was as if there was an evacuation as a sea of orange scattered around Singapore. Took bus 167 to one Fountain for our 1st checkpoint.

Checkpoint 1! I carried Zheng Wei on his legs wheelbarrow style and he had to blow a balloon till it burst! Overall - 11 minutes deducted! Ran to Checkpoint 2 in less than a minute -.- Jaywalked, again!

Checkpoint 2! Some guy of other race spit water at me. Was very furious, but i believe in karma. If i had lost it, who knows what might have happened? Anyway, piggy-backed Zheng Wei 3 Laps of 20 Metres and Zhi Young 1 Lap... Nearly killed me, on my knees already... Zheng Wei was carried throughout this checkpoint! Kim Kim carried Zheng Wei also! - 11 Minutes!

Checkpoint 3! Those losers who spat at me and took a video of it were at the same stop... They were going to Fort Canning too! Too bad, took 167 back! THEY DID NOT ALIGHT. Losers, obviously, we'd never see them in the race again. Alighted, saw Milton's team, but anyway, we jayran past them and we too, never seen them again. Went to the top of Fort Canning, and later told to go down... Anyway, failed this task, and overall, - 6 Minutes! Strolled our walk back to the same bus-stop... We can feel that we're gonna get something out of this race at this point...

Checkpoint 4! Took any bus that went back to Dhoby Ghaut and went for a refresher break... Refuelled at 7-11 while Zhi Yong went to the Gents. He later got lost, and while Kim Kim pressured him, i slowly explained the way back... Saw many other teams! We're not beaten so easily...! At Simei! Ran from the train to the checkpoint, completed it, and ran all the way back! We're in the race again! - 11 Minutes!

Checkpoint 5! 1 Stop later, at Tampines, as usual, dashed down, got the audience and did some cheer... Embarrassed ourselves there... Really! - 11 Minutes though!

Final Checkpoint! Could feel that this was the last stretch, as other teams still had 1 or 2 tasks left... Wanted to sprint down the stairs, but someone blocked my way and i went to the ramps instead -.- The rest of my team followed. Rannn through the open field at Pasir Ris interchange to the new Pasir Ris Park Car-Park for shuttle run... Zheng Wei fell, and grazed his knee, but... - 11 Minutes!!

End point! Nearly crawled there! Finished at 12.33pm, with 61 Minutes deducted through tasks... Out of a max 66! Saw quite few teams there! Knew we were in the Top 15 then, but exactly where? Later... WE WENT TO THE ARCADE AND PARTIED THERE! Wished my parents a safe trip as they were about to takeoff to Hong Kong. Also had time to try our luck at plushies but to no avail, and later had Superdog for lunch! Went to the Prize Presentation at 2.45pm, but to our surprise, some other teams havent returned! Anyway, some friends of mine were shocked that we had the time to arcade o.O! We were outraced by Joey and team though... Hehe

Prize Presentation finally... Got a good 12th position! $200 NTUC Fairprice Vouchers! I kept $60... 13th got 10 Movie ticks for free! not worth it! $18 can compare to $60 or $40 at the minimum! Joey got 7th, and got $200/300 NTUC Vouchers + a haversack. Not worth the rush though, but being in the top 15 in cool, top 10 cooler! Disappointed not to get top 3 and change our phones... BUT!! Here are some areas we could have won.

1. Checkpoint 1, had our queue not been cut. At least 3 precious minutes gone.
2. Checkpoint 3, if we completed the task, and had gone up the shorter way.
3. Break time, had Zhi Yong followed me instead. I knew the MRT Well. Could have saved 7 minutes waiting for the next train.
4. The last stretch! If we had the stamina of Milton, could have saved about 5 minutes!

Conclusion : Well Done! Wilson, Kim Kim, Zheng Wei & Zhi Yong owns.

Later, ate dinner at Pastamania... Miso Mushroom so salty. Napped at 9pm. Woke at 11.30pm to do A Maths till 1am...

Sunday... Too godly at choosing booster packs. Got blacklisted by the shop-uncle -.-
Anyway... In the night, uncle and grandmother visited me and asked if i was okay! I'm absolutely fine, yeah. Gave me some money too...

Today ar! NONSENSE! Feels so lonely being alone at home! 1st day, it feels great, but as time passes, you need company you know. Collection for Class-Tee done! Great job! After a month. LOL. Singapore got whooped 7-3 by Uzbekistan at home. Disappointing defence. Trained my muscles a bit you know, seemed to have weaken from not playing Basketball.

Last Friday! Couldnt sleep at night! Too excited for THE QUEST! Anyway, got addicted to a new anime called Vampire Knight. Interesting storyline and funny too! Taught Nicholas A Maths? He was absent? Watched Narnia in the afternoon with Kim Kim. He was so jealous of Prince Caspian and he said he'd do anything to kiss the girl, you know, the one shooting arrows. Stupid ci-ko-peh.

Everyday is kinda boring after school until 6pm... Chemistry and Chemistry. At this rate, Chemistry sure turn from D7 to B4 at least!

Ryan Babel tore his ankle ligaments too! SAD. Holy crap man, what a waste! Was anticipating him making an impact at Euro 2008. Torres was the top seed to be Euro 08's top scorer! What an honour! And if Alonso really goes to Real Madrid/Juve, hope Ribery comes in! Interesting buy you know!
