Liverpool for life!

I was definitely upset by the fact that Liverpool lost to Man Utd. But I've come to a conclusion : Loved Ones > Friends > Studies > Liverpool > Games.

Today i went to school in SCHOOL UNIFORM instead of home clothes, should have wore home clothes if i knew i could, so damn hot. Anyway, i think i have grown taller! I no longer need editing for my pants! Wee! Handed my homework lolx. Imma good boy.

"Fernando Torres admits he has an eye on finishing as the country’s top scorer this season but insists the honour would pale into insignificance if he ended the campaign with a winner’s medal.
"Dirk Kuyt believes teammate Fernando Torres has been the best striker in England so far this season. ""
Yeah! But after the Man Utd game, i dont think its that possible anymore, 6 league goals this season, 22 games to go. Leaders at 9 goals. 10 Points behind Arsenal. I can only hope for a miracle. Torres' solo goals make him the best in England!

"Rafa Benitez has spoken about his admiration and respect for Fabio Capello.
"I am not in the position for talking too much about whether he would be a good appointment, but he is a good manager that is simple." "
Capello is a genius! He has won the league at least once with every single club he has coached! He said that he will win the World Cup for England in 2010! Its down to how England can perform! He is scary too, he told players : I'm not your friend.

"Rafa Benitez believes his players are finally ready to end their six-year wait for a league victory against Manchester United at Anfield.
Liverpool last beat United at home in the league in November 2001 when John Arne Riise scored that famous free-kick in a 3-1 win. "
Crap. If only we had that Riise's famous left leg six years ago. His left leg isnt as monsterous anymore....

"Manchester United fear the attacking threat of Fernando Torres ahead of this weekend’s Anfield showdown.
Torres has already netted 12 goals since his summer arrival - including a brilliant individual effort against Marseille in midweek - and United's assistant boss Carlos Queiroz admits the Spanish hitman is making the difference for Liverpool this season.
"I have been in England for five years and I have never seen a Liverpool side looking so strong in the league at this point of the season," he said. "
Yeah, if we were to win anything, it had to be done with Torres. Torres didnt really trouble the Man Utd defence, other than causing tensions between VDS & Ferdinand.

"Pepe Reina today insisted Liverpool have nothing to fear in the Champions League following their stunning success in Marseille. "
Fans of Liverpool have insisted that they want the league title instead of the Champions League. Winning one over Man Utd can help, too.

"Rafa Benitez has told his players they must entertain their loyal fans by scoring as many goals as they can.
Rafa Benitez believes the confidence Liverpool could gain from the so-called ’grand slam weekend’ could be more important than the three points up for grabs. "
Aww. Goals? My foot. Only three clear chances for us to score though we dominated. We deserved at least a point too.

"Alvaro Arbeloa is gearing himself up for his biggest challenge of the season against Manchester United this weekend.
The Liverpool full-back - one of the most impressive performers of the campaign so far - is likely to come up against United's in-form winger Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday in what is sure to be one of the key battles on the pitch during the 90 minutes.
But far from being daunted at the prospect, the man who kept Lionel Messi quiet at the Nou Camp last season is relishing the prospect of marking Ronaldo out of the game. "
Arbeloa did Superbly against Messi! He made Messi impotent in attack just as he did with Ronaldo yesterday!

"Andriy Voronin has revealed he is loving life at Liverpool and admits he holds a deep admiration for skipper Steven Gerrard - both on and off the field of play. "
Glad that Voronin says that. Even Gerrard couldnt score the equaliser that would have him match the record of Ruud van Nistelrooy of scoring in 8 straight matches. Wished Voronin played instead of Kuyt.

"Javier Mascherano will put his friendship with Carlos Tevez to one side when Liverpool entertain Manchester United on Sunday and admits nothing will give him more pleasure than to help the Reds pick up three crucial points against their fierce rivals. "
Mascherano!!! Well, Tevez got the better of him. They were very very close friends when they were at West Ham, roommates i must say. Fortunately Tevez is married!

"Rafael Benitez believes Fernando Torres is the man to provide the cutting edge Liverpool have missed in recent clashes with Manchester United.
Fernando Torres will be hoping to take his blistering form into today's clash with Manchester United at Anfield with Jamie Carragher already hailing him as one of the club's greatest ever strikers. "
Torres didnt really trouble the Man Utd defence, other than missing a golden chance and causing tensions between Ferdinand and VDS. Those whom i thought who performed well in match is Mascherano & Babel for us, and Anderson + Evra for Man Utd.

"Following press speculation on Saturday morning concerning Liverpool's new stadium in Stanley Park, Rick Parry today said: 'We remain absolutely committed to the building of a new stadium which will improve on the original design' "
Stanley Park, 70k seater. Bigger than our old National Stadium! Hope the new stadium will be at least 80k seater for Singapore!

"Rafael Benitez has named an unchanged side for the mouthwatering Sunday lunchtime clash with Manchester United at Anfield.
It means the Reds boss keeps faith with the team that overwhelmed Marseille in the Champions League on Tuesday, with Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt continuing to lead the attack.
Liverpool team in full: Reina, Arbeloa, Riise, Hyypia, Carragher, Mascherano, Gerrard, Benayoun, Kewell, Torres, Kuyt. Subs: Itandje, Babel, Crouch, Aurelio, Lucas "
This point in time i thought, sure win! But watching the match, they didnt have the mentality of a cup-final. Thats what made us lost.

"Rafa Benitez refused to write off Liverpool's title chances after the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United.
A first half goal from Carlos Tevez earned United the three points and the victory took Sir Alex Ferguson's team nine points ahead of the Reds in the Premier League.
"It's too soon to say we are out of the title race because there is still a long way to go," claimed Benitez."
Well, it will take a miracle though, 10 points behind Arsenal, 22 games to go, win all matches and that will be possible!

"Liverpool FC issued the following press statement on Sunday night.
A meeting was held this evening involving Tom Hicks, George Gillett, Foster Gillett, Rick Parry and Rafa Benitez which was wide ranging and positive.
The discussions were amicable and constructive. All those present are united in their desire to bring further success to the club. "
Glad that it was positive. I was afraid that Rafa would be sacked. I certainly hope that Hicks & Gillett the best Rafa can get? LOL! I hope they would support Benitez with money backing!
