How it feels to be a Sec 4.

Hey! I'm back!! Finally bothered to post! It really feels mature to be a secondary 4 ya know!? I now do my work without complaint when i get the inspiration to do!!

My 2OO8 New Year's resoultion-
Get 15 points and below for L1R5
Have a better handwriting
Get inspiration to do work & study
Concentrate lesser on playing and try to study
Try not to get a girlfriend till 2009. lol.

Today in school we had a talk for the boys today and girls tomorrow. The talk was "so-so" alright and it wasnt about sex education mind you. It was about "changing" for the better! I felt that i have changed, but not enough! The priest, aka father told stories like how he turned a Satanic boy into a Catholic. Anyway, he thought us something, if your in a gang and wanna quit, they wanna beat you up, you tell them, " I call my priest! ". That really made my day! Anyway my new table has the word love in chinese and i decorated it red to represent Gaara from Naruto Y_Y, i missed my old table...

The 1st day of school is freaky. Almost everyone changed lol, personally & hair o.o! I'm just shocked that some jokers are so daring to keep their hair coloured and coming to school... For me, i think i changed, my handwriting is like -360 degree worse if i really concentrate of writing nicely!! Oh well, what a day to start 2008 to see most of my schoolmates with different hair! >.>
BTW I MISS OUR OLD CLASSROOM! I also decided to sit infront of teacher's desk so i can study better, and i haven felt tired in school ever since school started. :D

The 1st day of 2008! The day i so-called turned "16"! I just sneaked into the movies watch AVP 2! It was awesome, violent and vulgar! Really not a movie to forget! Makes no sense if you did not watch AVP though. I cant wait for a month to pass, thats where afternoon programmes are under way and Mock-exams are coming pretty soon, cos' thats when i officially turn 16! Anyway i'm a New Year day baby, born on the 1st day of CNY in 1992 so i always get double bonus due to my chinese bday on the 1st day of CNY! Chionged last minute homework, once again... =.=

The last day of 2007! Was pretty boring, spent the last hours of 2007 and 1st hour of 2008 alone... Anyway met my parents for lunch that day at the Soup Spoon where the soup and the sandwiches pwns!! Had Earthquake later too. Hehe.

"RAFA ON TORRES AND MORIENTES
Jimmy Rice
Rafa Benitez has explained why he believes his two Fernandos - Torres and Morientes - have suffered differing fates in adapting to English football.
While Morientes occasionally delighted during his season and a half on Merseyside, his countryman is fast becoming the Premier League's most feared marksman."
I personally like Torres a 100 times more than Morientes. Morientes impressed me only the time when he was at Monaco. Torres impressed me ever since his arrival from Liverpool! Btw Torres' goal against Marseille was the goal of December!! He also took the young player award of 2007! What an idol! *-*

"EVANS: ELANO IS DANGEROUS
Jimmy Rice
Former Liverpool boss Roy Evans has pinpointed Elano as the major threat to the Reds at the City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday.
Evans believes the Brazilian - an £8million signing from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer - has the potential to help City oust Liverpool from the top four going into the New Year. "
After the match against Man City, i felt that Elano wasnt as brilliant as the 1st quarter of the season anymore, he slumped after coming back from injury i pretty think that if we to miss the top 4 it would be because of Dunne & Richards to stopped Gerrard & Co.

"ARBELOA PARTNERS CARRA AT CITY
Alvaro Arbeloa will partner Jamie Carragher at the heart of Liverpool’s defence at City in the absence of the injured Sami Hyypia.
The Reds XI in full is: Reina, Aurelio, Finnan, Carragher, Arbeloa, Benayoun, Kewell, Mascherano, Gerrard, Kuyt, Torres. Subs: Itandje, Riise, Alonso, Voronin, Babel. "
I was shocked at Arbeloa's defending as a centre half! I preferred him as a wing back! We should have won, but thanks to some brillant defending. Torres should have scored, many times T_T

"RAFA ON CITY AND TRANSFERS
Lee Brown
Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez was happy with his side’s performance against Manchester City, but was left frustrated that they didn’t win despite creating 17 chances to score.
The Reds became the first side to stop City scoring here in the league this season, but they were thwarted at the other end by some fine defending from Richard Dunne in particular. A lack of cover at centre half meant that Alvaro Arbeloa had to partner Jamie Carragher there today and Rafa gave an indication that the Reds may be looking to bring in reinforcements during the January transfer window.
"We are working hard to find some solutions," Rafa explained. "I think we are close to some players, but until they sign you don't know.
"We are looking for players that will be good for us now and in the future." "
See? 17 chances and not scoring, how frustrating for the fans too. Glad to hear that signings will be made, i hope Mascherano's the first.

"PARRY: MONEY IS ALWAYS AVAILABLE
Jimmy Rice
Rick Parry has not ruled out the possibility of new signings in the January transfer window.
The Liverpool chief executive has revealed money will be made available if additions to the squad are deemed necessary.
Parry said: "Money is always available if we need it. "
Then where is it when we need to sign Mascherano? He has impressed almost everyone, explain that.

"AURELIO: WE SHOULD HAVE SCORED
Jimmy Rice
Fabio Aurelio admits he’ll spend New Year’s Eve disappointed that the Reds failed to beat City despite creating enough chances to win. "
Aurelio seem to have stolen the scoring boots from Riise! He really troubled Hart with those shots!

"KUYT: YOU HAVE TO EXPECT CRITICISM
Jimmy Rice
Dirk Kuyt insists he expects to face criticism when chances go begging in front of goal. "
Of course, i dont really like or detest Kuyt though, just that he is very inconsistent. I hope for someone like Crouch or Rooney to partner Torres. D:

"EDUARDO’S LIKE FOWLER - WENGER
Arsene Wenger has handed young striker Eduardo da Silva a huge accolade on the eve of 2008, likening him to Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler. "
Thats not even close, i'd prefer to compare Torres. Even Rooney is considerable.

"PLAYER OF THE YEAR 2007: STEVEN GERRARD
Jimmy Rice
Steven Gerrard has seen off stiff competition from Fernando Torres and Javier Mascherano to scoop Fans’ Player of the Year for 2007.
The skipper received 53 per cent of the vote in an exclusive poll on this website.
Torres came second with 18 per cent despite playing only five months of the year at Anfield. Mascherano was third with eight per cent, with Jamie Carragher fourth and Pepe Reina fifth. "
Of course! Steven Gerrard's our man! Torres was an awesome 2nd, Mascherano, Carra and Reina were the expected next though i would like it in this order : Carra, Reina & Mascherano.

"HESKEY HAILED AS BEST CENTRE FORWARD
STEVE BRUCE is ready to unleash Emile Heskey on former club Liverpool, claiming the Wigan ace is the best old-fashioned English centre-forward in the game. "
Whats the difference between centre-forward, strikers or whatever? My top 5 strikers are Van Nistelrooy, Klose, Rooney, Toni & Torres

"KEWELL NOT THINKING OF CONTRACT
Jimmy Rice
Harry Kewell is not even thinking about a new contract as he tries to once again become an integral part of the Liverpool side. "
Kewell's contract ends at the end of the season! T_T I hope he signs another contract asap, as Rafa stood his faith with Kewell...

"RAFA: I WOULDN’T SWAP PAIR FOR ANYONE
Jimmy Rice
Rafa Benitez claims he wouldn’t swap either Fernando Torres or Steven Gerrard for anyone in world football. "
If i were Rafa, i wouldnt swap them for anyone too, but for everyone? Maybe!

"KIRKLAND HOPING FOR KOP WELCOME
Jimmy Rice
Chris Kirkland is hoping for a warm reception from the Kop on Wednesday night when he returns to Anfield for the first time since leaving the club. "
Well, he certainly will! Together with Heskey! I'll remember Kirkland for that superb pass to Neil Mellor for that wonderful 2-1 win over Arsenal years ago!

"BENITEZ: LET’S START 2008 WITH A WIN
Steve Hunter
Rafael Benitez wants Liverpool to signal their intent for the new year by beating Wigan on Wednesday night and keeping up their fight for the Premier League title. "
Start 2OO8 with a win? My crap. Better start the 1st European match of 2OO8 with a win.

"YOSSI HOPING LIGHTNING STRIKES TWICE
Steve Hunter
Yossi Benayoun said he would love to score against Wigan again and start 2008 off in fine style for Liverpool when the Latics visit Anfield on Wednesday night. "
It would be a miracle if lightning struck twice on the same spot on earth. It would be a miraculous miracle if Benayoun scores another Hat-trick in his Liverpool career!

"Fans have voted in their thousands for the club’s best young player of 2007. And the winner is...
...Spanish ace Fernando Torres.
Liverpoolfc.tv asked supporters which player aged 23 or under had impressed them most throughout the year.
Torres took 35 per cent of the vote despite playing only five months of 2007 in England.
Daniel Agger came second with 28 per cent and Javier Mascherano third with 17 per cent of the vote. "
Obvious choice! As Torres & Mascherano turns 24 in 2oo8 and Agger still 23, Agger to be the young player of 2008!

"Jermaine Pennant makes a welcome return to the starting line-up as Liverpool host Wigan in their first match of 2008.
The Liverpool team in full: Reina, Finnan, Aurelio, Arbeloa, Carragher, Mascherano, Alonso, Gerrard, Pennant, Kewell, Torres. Subs: Itandje, Riise, Benayoun, Crouch, Kuyt. "
I'm shocked that Rafa even played 4-1-4-1. I'm even more shocked to see Alonso & Pennant starting in a league game, I would rather they start in a FA Cup match against Luton. Now Rafa blew our hopes away~

"Rafa: Let's forget the gap
Rafa Benitez will tell his team to put the 12-point gap between themselves and the top of the table to the back of their minds over the coming weeks in a bid to resurrect the club's stuttering title charge. "
How to? When we are 12-points away and still yet to face the other Big Four away from Anfield? Might be a 21-point gap after we played them.
